About Voss BBQ

Voss BBQ is a direct-to-consumer pellet grill company headquartered in Austin, Texas. We design and engineer five pellet grill models — from the entry-level Hearth to the flagship Timberline — and sell them direct to American backyards.

The founding

Voss was founded by a group of former hardware-industry engineers and lifelong pitmasters who got tired of watching the pellet-grill category get more expensive every year while the actual product changed almost nothing. We did the math: a $1,799 pellet grill costs about the same to manufacture as a $999 one. The difference is the brand premium.

So we built a company without that premium. Same materials. Same engineering. Different go-to-market.

What that means for you

Every Voss grill ships direct from our distribution partners. No retail margin. No middleman markup. We pass the savings to the cook, every time, on every model.

We invest the difference in two places: customer support (Texas-based, no scripts, lifetime burn-pot warranty) and product engineering (heavy-gauge steel, insulated lids on premium models, real induction burners on the flagship).

Where we're going

The grill lineup is the start. By Summer 2026 we're launching Voss-branded pellets (hickory, apple, mesquite, and a custom Voss Blend), grill covers, sear grates, and apparel. Every accessory is engineered for the lineup — and priced the same way the grills are: fairly.
